Malnutrition is more common in older people who live in communities or in long-term facilities like nursing homes because of things like anxiety and isolation. The aim of this scoping review is to identify the best studies that examine the accuracy and efficacy of nutrition treatments to prevent or treat malnutrition in older individuals, as well as the validity and reliability of nutrition assessment instruments. The study has demonstrated that although multiple systematic reviews were found, they did not all fit the standards for this review. For older persons living in the community or their long-term housing, comprehensive evaluations of nutrition assessment and intervention trials are required to inform the creation of evidence-based nutrition practice guidelines.
