In order to enhance patient outcomes, the new era of healthcare places a strong emphasis on the integration of nutritional care into healthcare management. Previous research suggested that doctors' knowledge of nutrition is lacking. Only a few studies have examined Saudi doctors' nutritional knowledge thus far, and none of them have included information on their attitudes toward the prevention of malnutrition. Therefore, the current cross-sectional study's goal was to fill this knowledge gap among Saudi doctors working in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, hospitals. The self-assessed knowledge and interest of physicians on malnutrition were modest, and they believed that the therapy of malnutrition had only a minimal bearing on their line of work. Saudi doctors lack enough nutritional expertise and practices to combat malnutrition. Saudi doctors must have the appropriate instruction and training in nutrition.
