Poor child health is common worldwide, with long-term and temporary irreversible consequences such as developmental disabilities, developmental disabilities, underweight and wasting. In the Opiro community, strategies used by caregivers to reduce malnutrition in children aged 0-5 were the focus of this study. The purpose of this research is to:
It assesses hunger treatments in adolescents aged 0-5 years, identifies measures taken by parents to reduce unhealthy health conditions in children aged 0-5 years, and identifies the prevalence of diseases affecting children's health. Five-year enrollment in the 0- Opiro People Group, which distinguishes between factors influencing human needs. Reviewed relevant literature. This study used Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Human Needs. This study used a descriptive cross-sectional design. We selected a sample size of 92 from the 114 target populations using the Taro-Yamen formula. The sampling method was intentional. Two sections of his self-developed questionnaire were used. Respondent personal information is provided in Section A and 11 questions regarding survey variables are provided in Section B. The visual and content validity of the instruments was checked by the principal investigator. Reliability was assessed by repeated testing. Results were analyzed using Pearson's product-moment correlation coefficient, which was 0.85. Tables were used to show the frequency, percentage and mean analysis of the data. The results show that the majority of respondents rely on a balanced diet and good breastfeeding to treat malnutrition. Malnutrition can also be reduced through early detection of stunting and proper environmental and personal hygiene. Poverty is a major cause of the prevalence of undernutrition. The following suggestions were made:
Nurses and other health care professionals should educate caregivers about the causes and prevention of malnutrition and the importance of proper breastfeeding.
